Worth the buy? NONONONO.
Theme: Mythology
What do you do when you realize nothing in your life is what you’ve believed it to be?
When Arionna Jacobs loses her mother in a tragic accident, her world is turned upside down. She’s forced to leave her old life behind and move in with her father. Dace Matthews, a teaching assistant at her new college, is torn in two, unable to communicate with the feral wolf caged inside him.
When they meet, everything they thought they knew about life unravels. Dace has intimate access to Arionna’s mind, and something deep within her fights to rise to the surface. They don't understand what's happening to them or why, and they're running out of time to sort out the strange occurrences around them.
Their meeting sets an ancient Norse prophesy of destruction in motion, and what destiny has in store for them is bigger than either could have ever imagined. Unless they learn to trust themselves and one another, they may never resolve the mystery surrounding who they are to one another, and what that means for the world.
This book was weird and completely un-feministic. (If that's a word.) It follows the archetype of "I am man, I am strong" and "I just met you but I'm obsessed with you and I'm going to stalk you." An, being the blogger that I am, I decided to justify my review with samples from the book. So let's begin, shall we?
The main character is stupid and boring as watching a dead fly. Dace, the male lead, is a creepy, psycho-stalking pervert. The second time the pair meet, he sticks his legs in between hers and starts making out with her.
The world spun wildly for an instant. When it settled, he had me pressed against a tree, his face inches from mine. His arms were on either side of my head, and he had his knee wedged between my legs, holding me up. Had his knee not been there, I'm sure I would have melted. My entire body burned.
I panted, and so did he.
Yes, this isn't assault or anything. It's so romantic.
His hands were all over me as his mouth worked against mine.
You just met him!
His stance screamed I belonged to him, I was under his protection . . . and to deny that truth would be complete idiocy. He protected what was his, fought for what belonged to him, and whether I agreed with him or not, I was his.
You can be whoever you want to be. You don't belong to anyone but yourself.
He was so angry, and I didn't understand why. Did he blame me for this?
"Don't. Do not touch me," he growled in warning.
"I didn't do anything," I whispered back.
"Ah, but you did... I was so, very, very angry with you... You belong to me."
So yeah, that sums up the characters quite nicely: Dace is an arrogant, chauvinistic jerk and Arionna is just another weak female character.
The writing was also very bad:
The entire thing sucks.
Why her? Why now? It all... sucks.
The entire situation did suck.
What a way with words. For most of the book, they couple were basically humping everywhere, even on picnic tables where people eat, or Dace was mad at Arionna for something or another. And what has the world come to when:
I whimpered, and thrashed against the table, tugging at my arms, pleading for him to let me go so I could touch him, too.
I didn't care about the plot so much as I hated the characters, which prevented me from liking the book. I actually wanted to hurl my nook across the room, at times. So, I would say no, please don't read this book. Not unless you want to be defile by this nonsense.

When I read this part, all that was going through my head was, "man, she must look like she was getting raped. Him on top of her, trying to get free." She practically was getting molested. This was on page 168. Listen: If you just met the guy and you're not even 200 pages into the book, please don't have sex with him on a picnic table. Sure, the MC tries to justify it, but seriously. They just met.
